Christian Counseling Professionals is a nondenominational Clinical and Christ Centered program staffed by Christians, each of whom is a trained counselor or psychotherapist with at least a master's degree in his field.
The center is a friendly place where new visitors as well as old friends feel safe and loved. At the center clients can expect the word of God and the prayers of the staff to have a prominent place in the counseling work.
The work began in 1992 under the leadership of Dr. Martha Sullins as an outpatient resource for family counseling.

Mrs. Hembree received a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Mobile as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of Mobile. Mrs. Hembree has been involved in Christian ministries for 30 years in various venues around the area. She is licensed by the state of Alabama and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association. She is committed to the restoration of individuals, families and marriages. Mrs. Hembree strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment in which God’s truth may begin to heal and transform. Private counseling, group counseling, classes and workshops are offered where God’s love may be experienced through biblical hope and practical help. Mrs. Hembree offers counseling and psychotherapy to individual children, adolescents and adults as well as counseling for couples and families.

Jennifer Moseley, MAMFC, LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in mental health practice. Before joining Christian Counseling Professionals, she worked in community outpatient, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, inpatient, and school-based settings. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and human services, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Troy University, and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Moseley’s therapeutic work focuses on the areas of depression, anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, marriage and family, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy. She particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults.

Dr. Dana Watson holds four post-graduate degrees: A Doctorate of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama, two Master of Arts degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mobile. He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Private Independent Practitioner (PIP). Dr. Watson previously worked in the faith-based, child welfare arena for 16 years, with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families. Bailey Kennon received her Masters of Arts from Liberty University in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling and is currently in clinical supervision under Jennifer Moseley, LPC-S. She has a B.A. in Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Bailey grew up in Orange Beach, AL, but she and her husband moved to Mobile in Spring 2022 as he is a Student Pastor in this area. She would describe herself as an extroverted introvert - She enjoys spending one-on-one time with folks and providing a safe space to process emotions and experiences. Bailey also has a special sidekick, Biscuit the therapy pup, who accompanies her to work a few days a week!
